John Cronin

Managing Director,
Tiger Capital Group

John Cronin has over 20 years experience in both the liquidation and appraisal businesses and has served as the Lead Analyst in many of the largest, most complex retail store closing events and asset appraisal projects in recent history.

Cronin currently acts as the point person on many of Tiger’s equity and fee transactions and manages our national disposition and field due diligence teams. Additionally, he heads the financial modeling teams charged with the creation of liquidation bid proformas.

From 2005 to 2011 he served as Tiger’s Director of Appraisals where he oversaw all aspects of our appraisal practice – from field visits/fact gathering to analysis, writing and final presentation. Under Cronin’s stewardship, Tiger’s appraisal division grew by over 600%.

In the ten years prior to joining Tiger, he was a Senior Financial Analyst at two competing liquidation/appraisal practices.

He holds a BS in Management from Providence College and received his MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
