Bob DeAngelis is a 35-year veteran of the commercial finance and financial services industry.
At Tiger, DeAngelis is a member of the Tiger Capital executive committee, and also heads-up Tiger Finance, LLC, the capital division of Tiger, providing capital solutions to its clients through a variety of credit-based products including secured loans, inventory consignment programs, junior secured credit facilities and structured equity offerings.
Prior to joining Tiger, DeAngelis was a founding member, and principal partner of Crystal Capital, serving as the firms Chief Investment Officer and co-head of all Portfolio Management functions.
As a reflection of his entrepreneurial spirt and leadership, he has been part of the ownership and management team that launched three different highly successful start-up lending platforms, including Crystal Capital, Back Bay Capital and GBFC. GBFC was sold to Bank of Boston, which latter became Bank of America Retail Finance, still one of the largest and most successful retail lending platforms in the country.
DeAngelis started his career at Shawmut Bank’s Asset based lending group, after graduating from the University of Connecticut’s school of business. He works out of Tiger’s Boston office.
