Online Auction Set For Assets of Tribogenics

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — By order of the assignee for the benefit of creditors, Tiger Group is conducting an online auction for the well-maintained assets of Tribogenics, a Los Angeles-based technology company that developed affordable, hand-held X-Ray analyzers for materials analysis and imaging. The offering includes a wide selection of laboratory equipment, precision CNC and other manufacturing equipment, parts, IT products, and office furniture and equipment.
Online bidding for the assets will open February 27 at www.soldtiger.com and will conclude at 10:30 a.m. (PT) on March 6. Bidders are required to register in advance at www.soldtiger.com. Previews of the assets being sold will be held on March 3and 5, from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PT), at Tribogenics’ facility: 5440 McConnell Ave. in Los Angeles.
“Through this sale, manufacturers can acquire precision machining and other equipment, while laboratories and other businesses can purchase a wide range of quality lab equipment, IT gear, designer office furniture, and other assets at auction prices,” said Chad Farrell, Managing Director of Tiger’s Commercial & Industrial Division.
Laboratory and manufacturing equipment available for sale includes Pfeiffer Hi Cube vacuum pumps, Sheldon Shel-Lab and MTI laboratory vacuum ovens, Air Science LF-series and Purer tabletop fume hoods, Nikon and Meiji microscopes, Tektronix four channel digital oscilloscopes, ultrasonic water baths, Hakko soldering and rework stations, and much more.
Tribogenics’ extensive machine shop assets up for bid include a 2002 Haas TM1 tool room CNC mill, an Acra Turn GH-1440A geared head precision lathe, a Bridgeport vertical milling machine, saws, worktables, and more.
Inventory on the auction block includes circuit boards, cables, switches, chassis, and other component parts.
The wide range of computers and IT equipment offered for auction includes iMacs, MacBook Pros and Airs, other laptops and personal computers by various manufacturers, and HD monitors as large as 27 inches. Printers and multi-function machines are also available.
The sale also offers an array of designer office furniture, including executive desks, conference tables, meeting tables, executive and swivel arm chairs, reception area furniture, and couches. Additionally, bidders will find office panel systems, 60-inch flat screen televisions, file cabinets, utility cabinets, A/V carts, and office sundries.
